Alliance Intervention Services LLC’s founder and owner Jennifer Rigney, has dedicated her practice to instructing students impacted by dyslexia, using Orton-Gillingham based structured language interventions. Her extensive training, knowledge, and experience in dyslexia interventions; together with her background in social work, inform her whole-child approach to instruction. Jennifer’s passion for student success and well-being naturally creates an emotionally supportive learning environment that helps children thrive!

  • As a homeschooling family, we count Jennifer as our child’s most trusted external partner in literacy development. Her relationship with our child is built on mutual respect, inspired by Jennifer’s infectious confidence and positivity, and propelled by her proven expertise in structured literacy instruction. After every session, our child emerges a better reader and — perhaps even more important — a bigger believer in himself.

  • Jennifer has been working with our daughter for three years. She has a way of bringing out the best in her. She has been wonderful! She is kind, patient, and has gone the extra mile in seeking ways to best help with her reading and writing. Our daughter has made significant progress in these past three years. Jennifer has also been so knowledgeable and professional during our school district meetings for IEP renewals and Jon Peterson renewals as well.

  • Having children with learning challenges there's a million worries and insecurities. Working with Miss Jennifer has been so wonderful. I see them improving with their reading, but also their confidence. I'm improving in my confidence as a homeschool Mom too!! We have tools that are actually working, and we don't have to figure it all out on our own.

  • Before Miss Jennifer I was struggling in school and I was trying to read but it was very hard. Working with her, I jumped 3; reading grade levels and now I can read a whole page by myself without help (mostly). My goal is to read a whole chapter book by myself and I feel hopeful that I'll be able to.

  • At first I would get very upset and angry when it was time for reading practice because it was so hard. But Miss Jennifer uses fun games and I like that now I can do reading practice without getting upset because I feel proud of myself. I am growing stronger in reading.

  • Jen has always been super helpful, and I have felt more confident in my reading and writing since I’ve been going. I never dread going because she always makes it fun. There is not too much talking, more just get to it, get it done, and then we can talk. I love that. She also is super flexible with my crazy schedule. Jen is very, very helpful.
